By: Annalys Gonzalez Netflix recently has added many original films to its site; it even added a section called "Netflix and chills" with some of its many original horror films, shows, and classics as well. Netflix original films have had a high success rate in the past, especially when it debuted its new romantic film "The Kissing Booth". The users went crazy over the movie and since such great reviews were posted, Netflix decided to start their new project: "To All the Boys I've Loved Before" was born. This film is about a high school girl named Lara Jean who wrote letter to all the boys that she ever had feelings for; all the letters were name and addressed. Her dilemma was that she had fallen in love with her best friend, who happened to be dating her older sister, Margot. Lara Jean had another sister named Kitty who found those letters and mailed them out. The plot of the story becomes a surprise because there was a total of five letter and all the boys, they were addressed to received including Josh (Margot's boyfriend), Peter Skevinski (6th grade love) and Lucas (her freshmen year homecoming date). Lara jean was not aware that her letters were mailed until the next day that Peter came up to her asking her about it and she fainted. As soon as she recovered, she saw Josh coming with the letter on his hand, so she started kissing Peter to scare Josh away. A little back story before we continue: Margot was leaving for college in another state, so before she left, she broke up with josh. Lara Jean was so ashamed of her love letter for Josh that he began “dating” Peter Skavinski (not really) to throw Josh off track. This fake relationship not only helped Lara Jean but it also benefitted Peter because he also wanted to make his ex-girlfriend, Christine, jealous. The "relationship" got more and more meaningful as time passed and without them noticing, Peter and Lara Jean started falling for each other, but it wasn’t until after a skiing trip at the end of the year that they realized It. The trip was a mere disaster due to the hot tub fiasco, where pictures of them were leaked around the whole school. Lara Jean believed that Peter had leaked the photos, but she also found out that he had gone to Christine's room that same night. Being as furious as she could be when she found out, she didn't want to hear from Peter ever again. Once she got home after the trip, she was surprised to see her sister had come home for Christmas. On top of having her photos leaked throughout the school, Lara's sister also found out about the love letter that she written to Josh; that’s where everything got chaotic. After a few days of not showing her face, Peter showed up and apologized; the relationship fixed their ups and downs, and their kiss sealed what turned out to be a beautiful and blossoming relationship.
